THE INTELLIGENT DEVICE STATION CC-LINK VER 1.10 CONNECTS DIRECTLY TO THE SERIES GP2000 PROGRAMMABLE DISPLAYS. Features
Up to 8 remote I/O stations and 8 remote device stations / inteligent device stations can be connected to the master station.
(For an FX3G as master, maximum 4 remote I/O stations)
SLMP, also known as Seamless Message Protocol, is a component of the CC-Link IE Field network that gives clients vertically coordinate field devices with controllers to data systems. It simply intefaces field systems to information systems having standard Ethernet-compatible devices such as barcode readers and RFID scanners which can be connected using SLMP over Ethernet TCP/IP.
CompactLogix controllers are recommended for control situations that a smaller to medium in size where there is no need for motion or safety usage. These controllers can be used with serial, Devicenet, EtherNet/IP, ControlNet and DeviceNet.
BACnet MS/TP is a data link protocol unique to BACnet that is commonly used as a field bus. The acronym MS/TP stands for Master-Slave/Token-Passing. The protocol uses EIA-485 as the physical layer. The protocol is defined using three state machines: Master Node Finite State Machine, Slave Node Finite State Machine, and Receive Frame Finite State Machine. A device is either a Master Node or a Slave Node.
The BBMD advances a BACnet broadcast message started by a BACnet/IP device on its subnet to others subnets with BACnet/IP devices. Upon landing in a destination subnet, the message is then show on that subnet.
BACnet IP utilizes a standard UDP/IP stack to send and get messages. Generally, the same packet that would be found on a MS/TP connection is encapsulated in a UDP/IP packet and called BACnet IP. Devices use IP locations and Ethernet MAC addresses like other UDP/IP system devices. There is no understanding of expert/slave token going since Ethernet is naturally parented in nature. Devices essentially transmit to their planned beneficiary voluntarily, and let Ethernet manage packet collisions and retries as required.
BACnet is an open communications protocol for building automation and control networks. The standards are controlled and/or referenced by ASHRAE, BACnet International, ANSI, and ISO.
Is a brand-name owned by Rockwell Automation that offers manufacturered Factory Automation Equipment. AB had revenues of US$6.4 billion in 2013, manufacturing programmable logic controllers (PLC), human-machine interfaces, sensors, safety components and systems, software, drives and drive systems, contactors, motor control centers, and systems made of these and similar products.
Rockwell Automation also provides asset management services including repair and consulting. Rockwell Automation’s headquarters is based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
This driver supports the A.O. Smith Propietary Device Network (PDN) master protocol, which is mainly used in A.O. Smith Boiler products.
