Application for 2 Serial Ports AT17200:

The AT17200 Gateway / Router allows all type of possible communication between devices including:

1. Modbus/RTU Master to Modbus/RTU clients on both serial networks by transparent routing. (When second RTU network doesn’t have a master device).

2. Modbus/RTU Master (or both RTU masters, if both Serial networks has Master) to Modbus/ TCP Adapter by transparent routing.

3. Modbus/TCP Scanner to Modbus/RTU slaves in RTU network(s) without master.

4. Exchange data between all master devices on different networks – RTU Masters on different Serial networks and TCP Scanners: The AT17000 presents shared block of Modbus registers where the selected Masters or Scanners can read/write data from.

Analog inputs, Comparator, Counter and Relay

⦁ The AT17000 presents a virtual node on the Modbus/TCP and ModbusRTU networks with independent programmable ID and address.
⦁ ADC conversion results, Comparator state and Counter, Relay state and control also present themselves as Modbus registers on programmable address in the AT17000, accessible as a slave or server on the Modbus Network.
⦁ Models that include ADC (or ADC/Comparator/ Counter) and Relay at the same time, can be configured to use the ADC thresholds and conditions to turn the relay ON or OFF.
